How are you different than a dog walk?
Well we can read your dog like a deck of cards. Nora is a dog enrichment and behavior specialist. Which allows us to customize each dog adventure with structured socialization, leash manners, confidence building, reactivity guidance and so much more. Your dog will not just go for a walk, but instead receive ongoing training in a way they enjoy!
What are your vaccination requirements?
All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper (DHPP, DA2PP, DHPPV or DA2PPv), Bordetella.
Vaccination Requirements for Puppies (who start at 14-16 weeks): Two series of Distemper, Bordetella, and all other age-appropriate boosters. Rabies is required by 5 months old (WI State Law).
Will you take my shy, reactive, or fearful dog?
Absolutely! Those are actually the dogs that have a special place in our heart. They need some extra work but trust us when we say it is so worth it!
Do you have any relevant coursework in this field?
Yes! I have both hands on experience and completed coursework. I worked at a doggie daycare for six years, in various positions including manager. For coursework I have completed the following: animal nutrition, genetics, social and behavioral science, pets in society, animal welfare, animal physiology, companion animal behavior, equine management, animal industries, and intro to agriculture business. I am also pet first aid and CPR certified.
Do you offer pet sitting services?
Currently I do not offer pet sitting. My happy hound needs some love too, so I like to make sure I give her the time and love she deserves .
