This week put us through the wringer weather wise but when we weren’t hunkered down the Hounds had a blast! Excited for to get back to ☀️ this coming week!

Today we welcomed sweet beagle puppy Mabel to the Happy Hounds family! She is joining us to play with friends, work on leash manners, build confidence and of course have fun! We can’t wait to watch her grow up!

Looks like we’re just out here jumping on rocks? Honestly, we kind of are. But every new obstacle is quietly building confidence, trust, and a dog who loves to learn. Don’t forget walks should enjoyable for everyone! Love how excited Dezzy is to parkour!

Finished out the week strong! Grateful to spend our days with the hounds!

Not every walk looks the same around here and that’s intentional. Maven’s mood, energy, and what she’s got going on that week all factor into what we do. Some days the neighborhood is perfect. Some days she needs wide open space and a long line. And some days the backyard is exactly right.

The toddler has been toddlering so not as much time for content lately but, the hounds haven’t slowed down! We even got the first splash pad session of the year in!

Adventure-based training isn’t about letting your dog do whatever they please, it’s about building a dog who genuinely feels safe and confident in the world. When that foundation is there, good manners follow naturally. That’s the difference between a dog who behaves because they have to, and one who thrives because they want to.

Another week, another adventure. They came, they sniffed, they thrived!
